The Solar Wind

The field of solar and space physics is rapidly evolving, and is the subject of broad interest in the scientific community in research and academia. The solar wind is a major component of solar activity that impacts space weather. This book serves as a reference on the current status of knowledge on the solar wind for researchers active in the field, graduate students, and other scientifically educated readers in related fields (such as heliospheric, magnetospheric, and stellar astrophysics research), with ample examples from satellite images, data, models, and animations.
