Certainly, and as the essays in this collection demonstrate, the future of African literary criticism promises more critical robustness enriched by the creative works of African women as Adimora-Ezeigbo. It anticipates greater engagement with quintessential issues surrounding women’s empowerment and transcendence over growing social challenges.
