WRAL-TV reporter Scott Mason—the Tar Heel Traveler—profiles colorful characters and out-of-the-way places, from a man without arms in Chapel Hill who chainsaws trees with his feet to a 101-year-old woman from Southern Pines whose homemade snake oil cures every ailment and from a Hyde County church moved by God to a Chatham County circle created by Satan; and a Jackson County rock carved by a giant.
